Sometimes an admin may want to clear the entire group chat. This could be because old conversations are no longer relevant to current members or because something inappropriate was posted in the past. Resetting your group chat is quick and easy. Here is how to do it:
1. Inside your group, open your group menu and tap Group Settings.
2. Under Core Settings, choose Privacy.
3. Tap Group Chat at the top of the next screen.
4. At the bottom of the next screen, tap Clear Chat History.
5. At this point, tap the Delete Chat History button to continue.
6. A confirmation modal will pop up warning you this action of clearing your group chat history cannot be undone. To confirm you want to proceed, tap Delete Messages.
7. At this point, you have successfully wiped your full group chat’s past history and you can start fresh again.
