School Directories on GroupSpot are an indispensable resource for any school organization. They offer instant access to essential school information, student and parent details, faculty profiles, and key committee contacts. Designed for flexibility, GroupSpot directories make it simple to add or update student and family information quickly, anytime, anywhere. Let’s walk through how to add and edit these important details:
To manually add new students and their families, admins start by adding the student, then they add their family.
1. To get started, tap on the School Directory icon from your group screen or access your School Directory from your group menu.
2. Select Student & Family from the menu of options.
3. Choose Browse by Class.
4. Choose the Class you want to add the student to.
5. Tap the + iconic in the upper navigation.
6. Add First Name, Last Name, optional Pronunciation, and confirm Class.
7. Tap SAVE to add the new student.
8. Once the student has been added, now it’s time to add their family.
9. From the list of students, locate and tap on the student’s name.
10. Tap the + icon to add Family Members.
11. Add parent information by including up to two Parent/Guardian contacts, Household Info, and any Siblings.
12. Once you’ve added your family details, tap SAVE.
To manually edit existing student or family information, admins simply locate the student in the directory, then update the student’s or parent’s profile.

2. Select Student & Family from the menu of options.
3. Choose Browse by Student.
4. Locate and tap on the student name from the list.
5. Tap on the blue pencil to edit their profile.
6. Edit the student profile or the profiles of their parents or siblings.
7. To record your changes and updates, tap SAVE.
