When creating a post, you first need to choose your post type. Most groups have two choices, Create a Post or Create an Event, but teams have a third choice, Add a Game. This third post type could also be listed as Match, Meet, or Competition depending on the nature of your team.
1. To get started with your new post, tap the blue Pencil Icon located at the top of your group’s home screen.

2. Again, most groups will see Create a Post and Create an Event drop down from the top of the screen. If you choose Create a Post, you can add your post Title and Details. It’s also easy to add to your post by tapping the + icon for add-ons like Photos, RSVP, Attachments, Links, Signup, Form, or Poll.

3. Alternatively, if you select Create an Event from the dropdown at the top of the screen, you will notice a much different form, one with rows specific to your event details. The key to any event is to add the start and end time so your events appear on your calendar. This is very important because your members will look for your events on the calendar.

4. For groups like sports teams, booster clubs, or academic groups, there’s a third post type, Add a Game. These are special event competitions with specific details like opponent, team, and venue.

5. Also worth noting is that if you start your post as one post type, it’s easy to change it to another post type without losing all your information. Choose the other post type from the tabs at the top to make the switch.
6. Once you’ve chosen your post type and fill in the appropriate information, you're ready to Post.
