GroupSpot makes it easy to share important links with your members. You can add clickable links directly in the post description or attach them to your post like any other add-on. Links can be added to both new and existing posts, given custom names (instead of displaying a long URL), and they render cleanly in the post detail view.
Here’s how to add a link to a new or existing post.
1. From your group’s home screen, tap on the blue pencil icon to start your new post; give your post or event a title (required) and feel free to add a description (optional).
2. Press the + icon at the bottom right corner of your screen to add to your post. Select Link from the menu of options.
3. On the new screen, add your link where it says Link URL. You can also give your link an optional Link Name and you can preview the link to see how it will display by tapping the Preview Link button.
4. Once you’ve provided those details, tap DONE to return to the create post screen to wrap up your post.
5. Tap Post to publish.
If you’re adding a link to an existing post, select the ••• on your post and select Edit from the menu. Then follow the same steps outlined above.
